Sakhi is a work where I want to reaffirm the very real possibility of true friendship. In a world where friendship is a word too much overused that its meaning has much faded away. In this work Sakhi, I seek to recreate that true friends can be and that it brings a feeling of inner happiness and contentment in life. Being with a true friend makes u kind of immune from the tragic world, just like an umbrella keeping out the rain and sheltering you. The work is celebration of contentment and joy that the company of another person whom you really trust brings to you and that a true friendship is something to be revered and cherished and is very much possible in this chaotic world we live in.
In my artwork i maintain a colour constant medium . I delineate towards forming figures into those colours. My trademark style of not mixing colours and keeping things constant at a point and diverging from that point to form visible figures in them is extraordinary. It is like a person is constant but his circumstances and experiences changes every day. I like to bring notice to life ? impermanence and instability. This always gives a sound effect and meaning to my art pieces.Read More
